I am an expert in neurodiversity and serve children, teens and adults with ADD/ADHD and/or on the autism spectrum. I help individuals who identify as Aspergers, autistic, undiagnosed autism traits, etc. and their families explore their authentic selves and be proud of their neurodiversity. I offer couples counseling for neurodiverse and mixed culture couples and assist couples to see each other’s perspective. I work with a neurodiversity affirming perspective as a proud autistic and ADHD woman.
I understand that many people living with neurodiversity have experienced trauma. I am a certified trauma-informed therapist and can help you cope with the fall out of these negative events and any symptoms of PTSD you may be experiencing.
Many, if not most autistic individuals have a hard time managing stress and anxiety. Especially, when you’re overstimulated and dealing with sensory sensitivities. This can make life challenging. I am skilled in helping you learn and practice coping techniques and strategies to manage anxiety and overwhelm.
Living with neurodiversity can feel isolating and difficult. This may cause feelings of intense sadness and depression. I work with neurodiverse clients every day and understand the feelings you’re experiencing. I can support you by teaching you techniques to increase your social network, tricks to cope with overwhelm, and provide you with tools to self-advocate for your needs.

Autism and ADHD parents face unique challenges when parenting their neurodiverse child, teen, or young adult. In autism and ADHD parent counselling, as an autism and ADHD parent myself I help parents who are struggling with understanding and helping their child be independent and advocate for themselves, dealing with meltdowns or sensory overload, navigating discipline, and helping their child cope with transitions and creating ways to cope with life independently.
Autism and ADHD families frequently experience conflict due to misunderstandings between the neurodiverse and neurotypical family members. In autism family therapy I help families learn how to communicate more effectively so they can deepen their connection. This helps reduce conflict and improve relationships between family members.
